Charles Van Roose is a Belgian painter and drawer of genre, portraits and still lifes,

He is also well known as an advertising draftsman , we know of him above all splendid representations of nudes.

After training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, he quickly became one of the main illustrators and creators of art nouveau drawings.
