Gorm Hansen, born in 1886 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and died in 1952, is a renowned Danish painter. He is primarily known for his works depicting landscapes and rural scenes, often inspired by the Auvergne region of France. Hansen trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he developed his distinctive style. In 1912, Hansen completed a notable mural for the former Damien Hotel, demonstrating his talent in the field of mural painting. His works are present in several public collections, including the art and archeology museum of the town of Aurillac, in Auvergne, where several of his paintings are exhibited.
